My Healthy Scrambled Egg For Breakfast

I love using a variety of spices when I am cooking even on my scrambled eggs. Aside from it makes our food scrumptious, spices has a lot of health benefits too. Spices helps boost our immune system and each of them has a role in treating minor to major illnesses. What's funny is that my picky eater son loves my scrambled egg. He requested me to cook this for breakfast.  We usually eat it with steamed jasmine rice and hot beverages (hot chocolate or coffee for me and hubby). If you want to make one, here is my  the recipe.

What you need:

  • 6     pcs eggs
  • 1/2  cup milk
  • 1/4  slice green bell pepper
  • 1     pcs tomato (remove the seeds)
  • 4    cloves garlic
  • 1/4 slice of big onion
  • black bell pepper(use sparingly)
  • salt (use sparingly)
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil 


  • Put eggs and milk in a mixing bowl and beat  until it looks bright yellow evenly, set aside
  • Chop green bell pepper, onion, tomato and garlic
  • Set the stove in medium heat, place the frying pan, it's great if you have a non stick pan, but if you don't have one its okay, add the oil when the pan is already warm
  • Saute chopped spices with 5 seconds interval starting with garlic, add the onion, then tomato and lastly bell pepper. Stir for 1 minute, do not overcook.
  • Add the egg mixture and do not stir. Let the egg cook for 1 minute or until the bottom part set. Stir while adding a dab of black pepper and  salt. Continue stirring until the uncooked part become firm. Transfer the egg to the plate,

This scrambled egg can be eaten with toasted bread too.

  5. I haven't tried putting bell pepper in a scrambled eggs, I only put it in a omelette but that's a grea idea.

  6. Scrambled eggs are my favorite go to comfort food. I think it has to do with my gram :) Those look yummy!

  7. I am not fan of garlic so if I will do your recipe, there would be no garlic hehehe.

  8. this must be a good kind of scramble eggs, except that peppers isn't a fan of my husband.

  9. I used to put green onions, or just yellow onions and tomatoes in my scrambled eggs, but because my son doesn't like the taste of it, I just omit it, so we always have plain scrambled eggs.

  11. I don't eat a lot of eggs...but this looks delicious. I will definitely try this because my kids and my husband love eggs!!!
